Coronavirus vaccine against COVID-19 coronavirus in US, 100 million vaccines to be ready by the end of 2020, US President Donald Trump.
“We are on track to deliver and distribute the vaccine in a very safe and efficient manner. We think we can start doing this around October, “Trump said during a press conference at the White House, specifying that this will happen” in mid-October, maybe a little later.

Later, at a press conference, the president added that in case of an unsuccessful development of events, the vaccine in the United States would have to wait a little longer – “in November or at least in December.”
He added that once the vaccine is approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the United States will begin producing millions of doses of the vaccine. By the end of 2020, according to the President of the United States, at least 100 million doses of the coronavirus vaccine will be ready for use in the country.

Trump also recalled that the US administration has prepared a plan that will allow vaccine deliveries to various cities in the country to begin on the day the vaccine is approved or the next day.

Meanwhile, American health officials are citing a less optimistic time frame for when the coronavirus vaccine will be available to the public, Bloomberg reported.

“If you ask when it (vaccine – IF) will be available to the American public, then I think we are probably considering the end of the second quarter, the third quarter of 2021 as the deadline,” the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) USA Robert Redfield.

The spokesman for the US Department of Health and Human Services Paul Mango called earlier dates for vaccinations.
According to him, the current conditions “will allow us to vaccinate every American by the end of the first quarter of 2021.”

He assured that the American administration expects to receive 100 million doses of an effective vaccine for the elderly – the highest risk group for coronavirus by the end of 2020. However, Mango clarified that if the vaccine is approved in October, the authorities will have 20 million doses of vaccines, but it is more likely that the vaccine will be approved in November or December of this year. He also stressed that “there is never a 100% guarantee” of meeting the schedule.

In turn, recalls Bloomberg, the main American infectious disease specialist Anthony Fauci previously said that Americans should not wait for a vaccine in the public domain before mid-2021.

Meanwhile, White House chief of staff Mark Meadows said on Wednesday that US specialists will receive the vaccine by the end of September.

“Potentially, we could do this by the end of September,” he told reporters, adding that this is an “optimistic” forecast.
