U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris, speaking about climate change at the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) summit in Washington, D.C., muddled her words. The politician’s speech was broadcast by the White House.

“We will work together and continue to work together to solve these problems. Solve these problems and work together. As we continue to work through the new norms, rules and agreements that we will bring together to work together to galvanize global action. We will work on this together,” the vice president said.

Late April, it was reported that Harris had contracted the coronavirus. The politician did not participate in any events or meetings at the White House before receiving the COVID-19 test.

American President Joe Biden also misspoke during the US-ASEAN summit when he referred to Vice President Kamala Harris as president.
