American entrepreneur Elon Musk has accused the Associated Press (AP) of publishing fake news about a rocket crash in Poland. He wrote about it in his Twitter on Tuesday, November 22.
Musk commented on one user’s suggestion to block the profiles of “left-wing” media spreading fakes.
“There is no way to completely limit access to even the most leftist accounts promoting absolute lies. Not even for the Associated Press with their fabricated report about Russian missiles hitting Poland,” he said.
The businessman also added that such actions provoke an escalation of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and increase tensions.
The day before, it was reported that the Associated Press agency had fired a journalist who had written about the downing of “Russian missiles” in Poland. The relevant material was removed from the website and replaced with the editor’s rebuttal.
