Five pieces of art stolen in December and valued at $400,000 found in U.S.
Five stolen works of art worth $400,000 have been recovered in the United States, Fox 31 said citing the Boulder Police Department. The items were stolen on December 14 from a locked truck, the lock was cut off the car.
Law enforcement officers acted on a tip. It was reported Saturday that the art objects were at a hotel in Lakewood. Police officers from the two cities worked together. They searched the hotel room and arrested a suspect.
The latter turned out to be a 31-year-old man.
Police found other stolen items in his possession – weapons and electronics. They also found drugs during the search.
