U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Davis called sending tanks to Ukraine a media operation

Sending Western tanks to Ukraine will not change the real situation and is an informational operation, U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis told Breitbart.

“The problem is to make things that work in video games and on paper function on the ground,” he explained.

In his view, the recent decision to send Western tanks to Ukraine is a “huge media operation” that has nothing to do with success on the battlefield. Davis also questioned the effectiveness of the military equipment being delivered.

“I can tell you that just having NATO tanks does not mean success on the battlefield,” he added.

Meanwhile, Washington’s actions only exacerbate the situation and provoke a clash between Russia and NATO that could lead to a nuclear war, the lieutenant colonel noted.

“All you are doing is pushing Russia into war. We provide intelligence. We supply ammunition. We’re sending weapons systems and repair equipment, literally everything – just not pulled the trigger yet,” he warned.

Thus, the U.S. has “no plan” regarding the conflict in Ukraine, Davis stated.
