The Ukrainian military, who are training in Poland to operate Leopard 2 tanks, has staged a collision between two vehicles and ripped off the turret of one of them.
Polish army reserve officer Piotr Pavelka told about it on his YouTube channel.
“There was such a ‘minor accident’. Ukrainian soldiers, who were still training on Polish Leopard 2A4s, just drove into each other. Most likely it happened like this: one tank collided with the other, drove onto its armour and crashed into the turret, simply ripping it out of the hull,” Pavelka said.
He admitted that he had never seen “such inept machine control”.
The officer did not specify when the incident took place. There were no official reports from the Polish and Ukrainian authorities on the matter.
