Former advisor to the head of the Pentagon McGregor: the USA cannot compensate the losses of heavy equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces

The West is not able to restore the losses of armored vehicles to the AFU, former advisor to the head of the Pentagon Colonel Douglas Macgregor said in an interview with Stephen Gardner.

“The Ukrainian army has lost almost 10,000 armored vehicles since the beginning of the conflict. It’s unbelievable, 10,000! <…> We can assume that the losses of the AFU are irreparable,” the former adviser spoke out.

He also stressed that colossal losses of equipment by the Ukrainian army speak about “extraordinary efficiency” of the Russian army in destroying armored vehicles.

McGregor concluded that sending weapons to Kiev might “bring money into the pockets of the U.S. military-industrial complex,” but would not change the course of the conflict in any way.

According to the Defense Ministry, since the start of the special operation, the Russian Armed Forces have taken out 424 aircraft, 231 helicopters, 4,117 drones, 421 surface-to-air missile systems, 1,100 multiple rocket launchers, 9,119 tanks and other armored vehicles, 4,806 field artillery pieces and 1,067 pieces of automotive equipment.
