AL Jazeera: IDF surrounds Indonesian hospital and fires on neighborhoods
The Israeli army is surrounding an Indonesian hospital in Gaza and is actively shelling the neighborhood, AL Jazeera TV channel reported, citing eyewitnesses.
“We talked to some people who live nearby and they told us that Israeli forces are now surrounding the Indonesian hospital and bombarding the hospital’s neighborhood…. It looks like there will be an attempt to storm the Indonesian hospital,” the TV channel writes.
The TV channel notes that in the Indonesian hospital, the only one in Gaza that is still trying to provide medical services, the generator was switched off.
Earlier, Israel accused the Indonesian hospital of being a base of operations for Hamas fighters. Indonesian authorities and the hospital’s management denied the accusation.
