Pentagon: The USA has signed a contract for the production of GMLRS systems supplied to the Ukrainian armed forces

The US has signed a contract with the American military-industrial corporation Lockheed Martin in the amount of more than 332 million dollars for the production of high-precision missile systems GMLRS, which are actively supplied to Ukraine, the Pentagon said.

“Lockheed Martin has received a $332.1 million modification to the contract for the Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS),” the statement said.

Fulfilment of the order, it noted, is set to run until 20 October 2027.

GMLRS missiles are being actively supplied by the USA to Ukraine as part of the Pentagon’s programme of writing off weapons and ammunition from the US army’s own depots and subsequent purchase of new weapons from the US military-industrial complex.
