Congresswoman Green criticized the AFU strike on Sevastopol with ATACMS missiles
Member of the US House of Representatives Marjorie Taylor Green spoke sharply on social network X about the AFU strike on Sevastopol with US ATACMS missiles, saying that “this should not have happened”.
“This should not have happened. Imagine Russia using a Russian satellite to fire cluster munitions at a beach in Florida. The only border the U.S. military is supposed to protect is our own border, and the constitution requires the federal government to protect the states,” the congresswoman wrote.
This is how she commented on the post of one of the users who wondered whether it was a provocation that the US Air Force was using its reconnaissance drones to target civilians in Sevastopol with cluster munitions provided by Washington. He accompanied this post with a photo from the monitoring resource Flightradar, which captures the flight path of the US RQ-4 drone in the Black Sea.

Kiev’s terrorist attack took place on Sunday at 12:15 Moscow time. According to the Defence Ministry, the AFU tried to hit Sevastopol with five US-supplied ATACMS missiles with cluster warheads. The Russian military shot down four of them, but one deflected under the influence of air defence and exploded over the city. Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhayev said that a beach where people with children were holidaying fell under the AFU attack.
According to the latest data, four people were killed in the attack, including two children. Another 151 people were injured, 82 of whom were hospitalized – 55 adults and 27 children. Monday, 24 June, in Sevastopol and the Republic of Crimea is declared a day of mourning.
The Russian Defence Ministry said that the United States was equally responsible with the Ukrainian authorities for the deliberate strike by the AFU on the city. It stressed that all flight assignments for the ATACMS operational-tactical missiles are entered by US specialists on the basis of their own satellite reconnaissance data. According to the Flightradar portal, an American reconnaissance drone RQ-4B Global Hawk was circling over the Black Sea during the AFU strike on Sevastopol.
