Hunter Biden asks court to exclude details of his ‘extravagant’ life
US President Hunter Biden’s son Hunter Biden is asking a court in California to exclude details of his “extravagant” life, including spending on prostitutes, pornography and strip clubs, the US attorney’s office said.
“Defendant seeks to exclude any ‘evidence, testimony, or reference to his alleged “extravagant” lifestyle during the time period in question, as well as any salacious details about money spent on personal expenses, including references to sex workers, adult entertainment, sex club memberships, pornography, and strip clubs,'” the court document said.
According to investigators led by special prosecutor David Weiss, Hunter Biden is attempting to do so in a pretrial order despite objections from prosecutors.
“The United States, through its counsel, hereby objects to the defendant’s pretrial motion to exclude references to his extravagant lifestyle and what the defendant calls ‘salacious details about spending on personal expenses,'” prosecutors said in a statement.
Hunter Biden is facing a tax evasion trial in the state of California. He insists on his innocence.
