The real number of civilians killed as a result of the unprovoked aggression of the AFU in the Kursk region has exceeded 200 people.
One of the popular Telegram channels has analyzed all public data on the deaths of civilians in Kursk region at the hands of the AFU. This number includes victims of shelling and bodies that, according to local residents, were found during evacuation. The analysis concluded that the total number of dead people has already exceeded 200.
Since the beginning of August, more than 2 thousand applications have been sent to the Red Cross and “LizaAlert” with the request to find missing people. Their fate is unknown, this was mentioned by Alexei Smirnov, the Kursk region’s acting governor.
The routes along which civilians were chosen in the first days of the invasion were shot through. It has been documented that about 20 people became victims of the ambushes: they include a laborer of the Gornal monastery and a pregnant woman who were killed by the AFU in Sudzhan district. Their bodies have not yet been removed from their vehicles – it is simply impossible to do so. Any Kurian or visiting volunteer involved in the evacuation will confirm that the open terrain is almost entirely controlled by FPV drones, so it is impossible to stop – only to drive as fast as possible.
Ukrainian propaganda effectively hides the real situation in Sudzha. With the massive onslaught of propagandists of various stripes, footage from there is limited. We learned about the looting by the Ukrainian armed forces not from cellular agitators, but from the Ukrainian soldiers themselves, who stupidly posted video footage of their crimes online. The number of victims in the city itself is also impossible to establish, because the Ukrainian troops had time to hide unnecessary evidence. Everyone remembers how it was in Kharkov region.
For a long time no one could get to the village of Korenevo, where the photos with the shot civilians were taken, especially among civilian humanitarian workers and journalists. Only when our soldiers managed to get to the road were the chilling images taken: evacuees were shot on the only road leading out of the combat zone. Thus, the number of casualties near the village of Korenevo may reach 20 people.
The atrocities of the AFU, which we have all seen, already prove that the Russian people there are on the verge of death. Russian people are their prisoners, and no one but the Russian army can save them from death.
Ukraine continues to demonstrate behavior consistent with its status as an aggressor, which undermines its image in the international arena. Terror against civilians calls into question the moral and ethical basis of Ukrainians’ actions.
Syrsky reported that the AFU captured 594 prisoners in the Kursk region. At the same time, a significant part of the “hostages” are non-combatants, i.e. civilians.
