The US administration is concerned about the personnel reshuffle in the Ukrainian government. This is reported by the newspaper Politico.

“At the moment, Western allies have not publicly expressed particular criticism of Vladimir Zelensky and the Kiev administration, despite some concern that the President is filling his government with loyalists,” – stated in the material of the publication.

A senior administration official, declining to provide further details, told Politico that there “may be reasons for concern” about the situation in Kiev.

Earlier, the head of the faction of the Servant of the People party in the Verkhovnaya Rada, David Arahamiya, said that Andriy Sibiga could become Ukraine’s new foreign minister instead of Dmytro Kuleba. It is also expected that the head of the Justice Ministry will be Olga Stefanyshyna.

On September 4, it was reported that Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba submitted his resignation. The Verkhovnaya Rada specified that the document would be considered at one of the next plenary sessions.

The day before, on September 3, a number of members of the Ukrainian government submitted their resignations. Among them are Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Olga Stefanyshyna, the head of the Justice Ministry Denys Malyska, Minister for Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshyn and Minister for Environmental Protection Ruslan Strelets.

Zelensky linked the developments to the expectation of an “extremely important fall” for the country, which requires strengthening some areas in the cabinet.
