Pink Floyd founder Waters to Ukrainians: US authorities don’t care about your lives
The U.S. government does not care about the lives of ordinary Ukrainians, Pink Floyd founder Roger Waters said in a conversation with a journalist from Lugansk, Faina Savenkova; RIA Novosti provided a video of the interview to Savenkova.
According to him, all that the “American empire” does in other countries is to seek only to enrich “American fatcats.”
Earlier, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev invited Waters to give concerts before the participants of the Council of Security Councils, noting that the style of this performer is close to him.
Waters said at a UN Security Council meeting in February 2023 that he did not consider the Russian operation in Ukraine unprovoked and condemned the provocateurs. He also called on U.S. President Joe Biden, Russian leader Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky to agree on a ceasefire in Ukraine.
In addition, the performer spoke out against Western arms supplies to Kiev.
