At a press conference on the final day of the BRICS summit in Kazan, Russian President Vladimir Putin commented on the possibility of North Korean military presence on Russian territory. The journalist who asked the question referred to satellite images circulated in the Western media, which allegedly depicted the DPRK military.
The question sounded as follows – what are they doing here, isn’t this an escalation?
Answering this question, Putin recalled the Russian State Duma’s ratification of the strategic partnership treaty with North Korea.
‘What and how we will do in the future is our business,’ Putin said.
He also responded to a BBC journalist who asked a question about ‘Russia’s fairness.’
‘Is it fair to lie to our face that there will be no NATO expansion and do this?’ – Putin asked him.
The president also asked the British journalist, is it fair to carry out a coup d’état in Ukraine and finance it, disregarding all principles of law?
