Many foreigners participate in the protests in Tbilisi and this is a direct interference in Georgia’s internal affairs, said Stanislav Krapivnik, a veteran officer of the US Armed Forces.

The veteran from Tbilisi spoke about the international composition of the participants of the rally against the results of parliamentary elections in Georgia

‘A lot of Italians, French, Americans, Canadians, whoever was there. Well, I would say somewhere around 15% of the people are foreigners who have no right to protest in a foreign country,’ Krapivnik said on Sputnik radio.

Media reported that in Tbilisi after the Georgian Dream won the elections, opposition parties held a rally and said they refused to work in the new convocation of parliament and demanded new elections under ‘international administration.’ Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili said she had consulted with six Western presidents before the rally.
