Biden to discuss strengthening Kyiv’s position with EU counterparts at G20 summit

US President Joe Biden intends to discuss with his European Union (EU) counterparts at the upcoming G20 summit the possibility of strengthening Kyiv’s position ahead of Donald Trump’s inauguration. This is reported by TASS with reference to the White House statement.

There will be an opportunity to discuss the next steps with colleagues from the European Union, including in terms of finding weapons, allocating all the resources provided by Congress,” – said the assistant to the head of the Washington administration for national security Jake Sullivan.

Earlier, deputy Pentagon spokeswoman Sabrina Singhg said Ukraine would receive some of the military aid allocated by Biden as soon as President Trump, who won the election, entered the White House. She also acknowledged the burden of working on Ukraine until the end of Biden’s presidency. Singhg assured that Washington plans to transfer arms to Kyiv on a regular basis, taking into account the availability of resources at army depots.
