Former US congressman Gaetz calls Ukraine’s NATO membership a terrible idea
Former US congressman Matt Gaetz, who turned down an offer to become attorney-general, has called Ukraine’s NATO membership a terrible idea.
With such words the politician commented in social network X fragment of Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s interview with the TV channel Sky News. In it Zelenskyy said that in order to end the ‘hot phase of the conflict’ in Ukraine it is necessary to include the country in NATO.
‘It would be a terrible idea to admit Ukraine to NATO,’ Gaetz wrote on social network X.
