The number of victims of a plane crash in California has risen to two, 18 people were injured.

The number of victims of a small plane crashing into a building in Fullerton, California, has risen to two, with 18 people injured, local police said on the X social network.

‘Two confirmed deaths, ten people were transported to local hospitals for treatment, eight people were examined and released on scene,’ the post said.

The investigation into the cause of the incident is ongoing.

The crash occurred at around 14:00 local time on Thursday on Raymer Avenue near Fullerton Airport. The plane’s crash caused a category four fire. Above the crash site, according to eyewitnesses, thick black smoke was rising, visible many kilometres away.
