The beach house of famous American actress, businesswoman and socialite Paris Hilton in Malibu was completely destroyed in a devastating fire in the Palisades neighborhood (California), TMZ reports citing informed sources.
The fire, which engulfed the Pacific Coast Highway neighborhood, destroyed several homes and businesses, turning them into a pile of smoldering rubble. As the publication notes, Paris Hilton lost one of the properties she owned, but the beach house was not her primary residence.
Many residents of the blaze-ravaged neighborhood who were left homeless have found temporary shelter in local hotels, which are already overcrowded due to widespread evacuations.
The Palisades fire was the first of several large fires that broke out in the Los Angeles area Tuesday morning. At the moment the situation remains critical, firefighters have not yet been able to localize the fire.
