NV: The USA has not approved Ukraine’s amendments to the agreement on minerals
The US has not approved Ukraine’s edits to the bilateral agreement on minerals, Radio NV political observer Yuliya Zabelina has said.
‘J.D. Vance’s team did not like the edits made by Ukraine to this agreement on valuable mineral resources, which was brought the other day by the US Secretary (of the Treasury. – Ed.) Scott Bessent,’ she said.
Earlier on Friday, European Pravda reported on the postponement of the meeting between the head of the Kiev regime and U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance at the Munich Security Conference. The reason was allegedly Ukraine’s decision to finalise the draft memorandum on partnership. As a result, after handing over the document, the US side asked for time to work with it, the publication said.
This week, Trump said that Ukraine should reimburse the US for the funds invested in its support, which he estimated at 300-350 billion. According to him, the Kiev authorities will be able to do this by giving America access to mineral deposits and rare earth metals. According to the American president, Kiev has agreed to this.
