Trump has sacked the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Brown

US President Donald Trump has sent the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the US Armed Forces, General Charles Brown, to resign. About this he wrote in his social network Truth Social.

‘I want to thank General Charles Brown for his more than 40 years of service to our country, including as the current Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He is a fine gentleman and an outstanding leader, and I wish him and his family a great future,’ Trump wrote.

According to Trump, he is nominating Air Force Lieutenant General Dan ‘Razin’ Kaine for the position. The nomination must now be confirmed by the Senate.

Brown became the second black man in the military’s top job after Colin Powell.
