Trump: US working on world’s largest gas pipeline in Alaska
The US is working on one of the world’s largest natural gas pipelines in Alaska, a project that could involve Japan, South Korea and other countries, according to excerpts from President Donald Trump’s upcoming address to Congress released by the White House.
‘We are working on a gigantic Alaska pipeline project that will be one of the largest in the world. Japan, South Korea and other countries want to be our partners and are willing to invest trillions of dollars,’ Trump said.
According to him, the project will provide the US with new jobs and strengthen the country’s energy independence. He also emphasised that his administration is doing everything possible to develop the US energy sector.
‘This will be a grandiose project. We will provide our country with energy resources and dominate in this sphere,’ the American president added.
