TMZ: John Goodman suffered a hip injury while filming a movie with Tom Cruise

American actor and Emmy Award-winning actor John Goodman, 72, suffered a hip injury while filming a film with Tom Cruise in the UK, TMZ reported, citing a source.

‘John Goodman was injured on a film set in the UK at the famous (film studio – ed.) Pinewood Studios…. The actor, while on set, fell down, however it was not a stunt … He suffered a hip injury, but he is on the mend and will return to the set next week,’ the publication said, citing a source familiar with the situation.

It is noted that the incident occurred during the shooting of the film of the famous Mexican director Alejandro Gonzalez Iñárritu, which also involves such famous actors as Tom Cruise, Jesse Plemons, Michael Stuhlbarg and Sandra Hueller.

According to the IMDb portal, Goodman is an Emmy Award winner, in addition, he has been nominated for various awards 78 times. Goodman is best known for his roles in Barton Flink (1991), The Big Lebowski (1998), Operation Argo (2012), and The Crew (2012).
