Former US prosecutor Jessica Aber found dead in her flat
Former US federal prosecutor Jessica Aber, appointed to the post by former US President Joe Biden, was found dead in her flat in Alexandria, Virginia, police said.
According to police, the woman’s body was discovered on the morning of 22 March.
‘Officers located the deceased woman. The Alexandria Police Department can confirm the woman’s identity as Jessica Aber, 43, former U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia,’ the police said in a post on social network X.
Fox News Channel recalls that Aber was appointed by Biden and served as U.S. Attorney from 2021 to 2025. According to ABC TV, she resigned in January, a short time after the inauguration of US President Donald Trump.
