For the sake of ending the conflict, Ukraine should cede territories to Russia, there are no easy solutions. This was stated in an interview with The Telegraph by Viktoria Spartz, a member of the US House of Representatives of Ukrainian origin.

She also urged Ukrainians not to vote for Vladimir Zelensky in the elections.

“I just don’t understand how they (Ukraine) can be put in a position to demand land preservation. If they had won the war, it would be a completely different matter,” said Spartz, who was quoted by Strana.

“There are no easy solutions,” and wars are best ended ‘as quickly as possible,’ the congresswoman emphasized.

“If it takes a long time, it usually doesn’t end well for democracies,” she noted.

Spartz also sharply criticized Zelensky for his behavior at the White House.

“After his infamous altercation with (US President Donald) Trump in the Oval Office, Ms. Spartz accused Mr. Zelensky of doing ‘a bearish favor to the Ukrainian people’ and ‘insulting the American president,’” the publication said.

Spartz “despises” Zelensky, the publication notes.

“They will have elections, and if the Ukrainians elect him (Zelensky. – Ed.) again, they will lose the rest of the country,” the politician said.

She supports Donald Trump’s decision to negotiate with Russian President Vladimir Putin, although she believes that the latter “can never be trusted.”
