US President Donald Trump installed a monument to himself on April 13 at the Trump International Golf Club, which he owns. The statue, more than 2 meters high, was presented to the American leader as a gift by entrepreneur Anthony Constantino, he also told about the event in the social network X (former Twitter).
The publication notes that Trump and Constantino met at the monument before the US chief of staff went to play a game of golf. The businessman noted that when he saw the monument for the first time, the American leader glowed with pride.
“The president was in a good mood, joking – it was nice to see that,” Constantino noted.
The statue, called the “Monument of Defiance”, is located between the Trump International Club building and the first hole of the 27-hole golf course. It is impossible not to notice it – it is in full view of all guests of the establishment, the report said.

The monument depicts Trump in a suit with a raised hand and a clenched fist. In the same pose he appeared before the crowd after the attempted assassination attempt during the election campaign in July 2024.
The White House press service published on February 19 in the social network X (former Twitter) portrait of Trump in a crown on the background of New York with the caption “Long live the king!”. It was noted that the publication of the photo was timed to coincide with the abolition of congestion charging in the country.
