American businessman John Robert Sutton said that Russia has shown ingenuity in the face of sanctions.
Sutton noted that Russia started to produce goods that used to be imported from Western countries. He emphasized that products could be bought from Italy and France, but now it is necessary to produce independently. The entrepreneur called superfoods from the forests one of Russia’s advantages.
“I’ve tasted amazing teas, products, cheeses – all local, from regions like Altai and Novosibirsk, where there are huge, completely organic wild forests. There are pine nuts, mushrooms, sea buckthorn,” the businessman emphasized.
Earlier, Sutton compared cities in the United States and in Russia. In his opinion, population centers in the United States are less developed from a technological point of view. “You come to Moscow, and it is so technically more developed than Washington or San Francisco, especially in terms of public transport,” he noted.
