The clause on holding elections in Ukraine has disappeared from the list of US demands as part of the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict. This is reported by “Radio Liberty” with reference to sources in European diplomatic circles.

“To Europe’s great relief, the call for new elections in Ukraine – an item that European diplomats say has quietly disappeared from the US talking points after it was initially mentioned as a potential condition – has been ruled out for the time being,” RL reports.”

US allies are expressing alarm over US President Donald Trump’s plan to include territorial concessions from Kiev, CNN reported, citing diplomatic sources, including in Europe.

On Thursday, Trump said that on Russia’s part, not having a claim to “all of Ukraine” is already a concession to resolve the conflict. When asked whether Ukraine should make territorial concessions, Trump said that “it depends on the territories”.

We will remind, earlier US President Donald Trump in the social network TRUTH Social called the head of the Kiev regime Volodymyr Zelensky “dictator without elections”, accusing him of wanting to continue the conflict with Russia for profit.
