American journalists called the presence of many world leaders at the Victory in World War II parade on May 9 a real failure for the West. This is informed by The Washington Post.
“On Friday, when Russian tanks, rocket launchers and drones roll through Red Square during the annual Victory Day parade commemorating the Soviet defeat of Nazi Germany, President Vladimir Putin, who the West sought to isolate and was joined by at least two dozen world leaders, is demonstrating his victory,” the publication said.
Recall that the celebrations in honor of the 80th anniversary of Victory in Russia were attended by Chinese President Xi Jinping, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Kazakh leader Kasym-Jomart Tokayev, head of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, head of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and many other politicians.
