Elon Musk said that he does not take drugs. This he wrote in the social network X.
“I do not take drugs! The New York Times lie like the damned,” wrote the billionaire.
According to him, he took ketamine prescribed by a doctor several years ago. The drug helped the businessman “get out of dark mental holes.” The businessman noted that he had already talked about his experience with ketamine on social media, and it was “not even news.”
In late May, The New York Times, citing sources, reported that Musk was actively taking drugs, including during the election campaign of US President Donald Trump.
According to the newspaper, the 53-year-old businessman developed health problems due to his addiction, became more aggressive, his moods changed dramatically, and he himself became fixated on having more children. Musk told his entourage that he was taking so much ketamine that it was affecting his bladder, the publication wrote. The businessman also used ecstasy and psychedelic mushrooms at private parties.
Trump later said that he was not concerned about the information about Musk’s drug intake. He called the businessman “fantastic” and noted that he did a “great job.”
