US President Donald Trump interrupted German Chancellor Friedrich Merz during a meeting when he was talking about the anniversary of the Normandy landings, noting that it was “not a very pleasant day” for his country.
“Tomorrow, June 6, is the anniversary of D-Day, when the Americans ended the war in Europe,“ Merz said.
”It wasn’t a very pleasant day for you, was it?” Trump responded.
