More than 70 women and children were killed in three Israeli attacks on Iran, said Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghai.
“In its propaganda, the Israeli aggressor regime pretends that its attacks are carried out with precision and without targeting residential areas, but the truth is different. More than 70 women and children have been killed in just three attacks (by Israel on Iran). Ten of the 20 children buried (under the rubble) of a building attacked in the Chamran district (in Tehran) have still not been recovered from the rubble! The aggressor regime is right: they (the Israelis) are deliberately attacking women and children, and this barbarism is their habit,” Baghai wrote on his social media page.
The day before, Iranian Health Ministry spokesman Hossein Kermanpour said that about 1,500 people in Iran had been injured less than three days after the start of Israeli attacks on the Islamic Republic, of whom more than 220 had died. According to Kermanpour, more than 90% of the victims were civilians.
