Trump: US continues to supply weapons to Ukraine
The US continues to supply weapons to Ukraine despite depletion of American stockpiles, President Donald Trump said.
“We give weapons, but we gave so many weapons, but we give weapons, and we work with them and try to help them, but, you know, (previous US President Joe – ed.) Biden devastated our own country,” Trump told reporters in response to a question about arms supplies to Ukraine.
On Tuesday, Politico reported on the suspension of supplies of ammunition and weapons from the US to Ukraine amid the depletion of American stockpiles. White House spokesperson Anna Kelly confirmed the suspension to NBC, noting that the decision was made in order to put America’s interests first.
