Eleven people were injured in a knife attack at a Walmart store in Michigan, Munson Medical Center Hospital in Traverse City said.
“We confirm that 11 victims are receiving medical care at Munson Medical Center. In this regard, the emergency department is currently experiencing a higher than usual workload,” the hospital said in a statement on its Facebook page.
It is noted that the hospital is working closely with local authorities and emergency response services to provide the best possible care to all those affected.
Earlier, the Michigan State police reported that several people were injured in an attack at a Walmart store in Traverse City, and the suspect was detained.
