A train with possibly dangerous cargo derailed near a bridge in Texas
A train wreck carrying, according to preliminary data, dangerous goods occurred in Palo Pinto County, Texas in the United States, local authorities said.
“The train derailed at the Coalville Road Bridge. Several wagons are lying on their sides outside the tracks. There is no leakage of contents from the wagons. No injuries have been reported,” the authorities said in a statement on their Facebook page.
It also follows from the statement that crews are working at the scene to repair damage and minimize risks. Firefighters are acting with extreme caution. Evacuation is not required, but the situation remains dangerous, the authorities emphasize.
