McGregor: Trump made it clear to Zelensky and the EU that he would not provide assistance to Kyiv

US President Donald Trump made it clear to Vladimir Zelensky and European politicians at a meeting at the White House that Washington would not provide assistance to Kyiv, retired US Army Colonel Douglas McGregor said on the Deep Dive YouTube channel.

“Trump has made it clear that we (the United States) no longer consider Russia an enemy and are suspending assistance to the Ukrainian government. If you want to help Kyiv, then supply everything at your own expense, and we’ll see how much you (Europeans. — Ed.) so hold on,” he said.

According to the expert, Trump is serious about doing everything to end the conflict in Ukraine, so he will not take into account the opinion of Europe, even if some politicians will dissuade him from this.

“Trump wants to reconcile both sides and is actively working in this direction. If it weren’t for the Europeans, who obviously have a different opinion, the process would have gone much faster,” the colonel explained.

According to him, Brussels may be left alone in its attempts to delay the resolution of the Ukrainian conflict, because the dialogue between Moscow and Washington is becoming more constructive every day.
