Protesters against the operation in Gaza set up tents at Netanyahu’s residence

Protesters against the Israeli army’s offensive on Gaza City have set up tents at the residence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem, Ynet reports.

“The families of the hostages set up tents at the residence of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu … protesting against his intention to expand the ground operation in Gaza City,” the portal writes.

Police have cordoned off an area with a radius of 300 meters from the Israeli prime minister’s house.

Earlier, the Axios portal reported that the Israeli army launched an offensive on the city of Gaza in order to occupy it.

On September 8, Netanyahu called on the population of Gaza City to leave it, announcing a powerful ground operation.
