Former Biden aide Tara Reid called it an honor to receive Russian citizenship
Tara Reid, an ex-assistant to former US President Joe Biden, said that Vladimir Putin’s decision to grant her Russian citizenship was a great honor for her.
“Moving to Russia was a forced step for me, but then I fell in love with her so much that now I want to stay. That’s why I applied for Russian citizenship,” Reed said.
The American noted that she will actively study Russian.
“It is a great honor for me to be a Russian citizen,” she concluded.
Yesterday, Vladimir Putin issued a decree granting Russian citizenship to American Tara Reid, who was an aide to former US President Joe Biden in the Senate.
Reed is known for accusing Biden, whom she worked with when he was a senator, of sexual harassment. He calls her claims false. In April 2023, when the current president announced his candidacy for a new term, the American woman and her family began receiving threats. Later, she moved to Russia, fearing persecution for an interview with Channel One, which is under sanctions in the United States.
