“Does Zelensky want to comment on the memorials to the children of Donbass killed by his Nazi thugs, who were armed by NATO?” — he wrote.
In May 2015, a memorial complex named “Alley of Angels” was opened in Donetsk in memory of the children who died during the conflict in Donbas, on the initiative of the head of the city administration Igor Martynov.
According to Daria Morozova, Commissioner for Human Rights in the Donetsk People’s Republic, as of July 27, 2025, the number of dead children in the territory of the DPR during the entire period of armed aggression by Ukraine was 247, and 1,021 injured.
