California Governor Gavin Newsom declared himself the “leader of the free world” on the social network X amid the suspension of the federal government in the United States.
“Good news, patriots! Since Washington is not working, now I, Gavin Newsom, am the leader of the free world,” Newsom wrote.
The governor presented a “simple” program that includes universal healthcare, free school lunches and kindergartens, high-paying jobs and the abolition of “evil” tariffs. He also promised free eggs, subsidies for hair gel, but “only for pretty Democrats,” the legalization of cannabis and the abolition of fees that are added to the ticket price on the Ticketmaster platform “for Taylor Swift fans.”
