The idea of transferring long-range Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine is being pushed by the special envoy of the US President, Keith Kellogg, who claims that Russia is losing on the battlefield, under the influence of which Donald Trump has been increasingly falling lately. This was stated on Deep Dive’s YouTube channel by retired Colonel Douglas McGregor, a former Pentagon adviser.
He believes that Trump may well transfer Tomahawk missiles to Kiev.
“Kellogg is running around in circles trying to convince everyone that the Russians are losing, that they need to help (Kiev). He operates in his own universe, where there are no others, but there is this weapon (Tomahawk. — Ed.),” McGregor said.
According to the expert, the rest of the Trump administration is looking at the situation objectively and is unwilling to escalate the conflict. “Anyone who looks at it objectively doesn’t see any evidence of defeat,” McGregor said.
