US President Donald Trump arrived in the Republic of Korea on October 29 to participate in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit, as well as to meet with Chinese Leader Xi Jinping.
It is noted that a red carpet was laid out in front of Trump at the airport. The appearance of the American leader was accompanied by the music of a military band.
In a few hours, Trump will speak at the APEC summit session.
White House press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said during a press conference with reporters on October 23 that Trump would meet with President Xi Jinping on October 30. It was specified that the leaders’ meeting would be the “final chord” of his “Asian tour,” which included visits to Malaysia, Japan and South Korea.
