US President Donald Trump has confirmed his intention to head the Gaza Peace Council as part of a plan to resolve the semi-enclave.
“The vote of the UN Security Council, which took place just a few minutes ago, recognizes and approves the creation of the Peace Council, which I will chair, and which will include the most influential and respected leaders of the world,” the president wrote on his Truth Social network.
