AP: At least 16 files on the Epstein case have disappeared from the website of the US Department of Justice

At least 16 files have disappeared from the website of the United States Department of Justice, where documents on the case of financier Jeffrey Epstein were posted. This is reported by the Associated Press.

A day earlier, the US Department of State released part of the materials of the scandalous businessman’s case in compliance with a previously passed law. In particular, US President Donald Trump is suspected of having ties with Epstein. However, there was no concrete evidence that the politician was involved in violence against minors.

According to AP, the missing files included images of paintings of naked women, as well as a frame showing a series of photographs spread out on a dresser and in drawers. In particular, a picture of the head of the White House next to Epstein and Melania Trump.

The other day, the US House of Representatives voted to adopt a bill on the publication of files on the financier’s case. 427 congressmen voted in favor, only one turned out to be against.

Earlier, the website of the US Department of Justice indicated that actor Chris Evans, known for his role as Captain America, was found in the financier Jeffrey Epstein’s phone book.
