
American film and television actor James Ranson (James Finley Ranson III) has died at the age of 46. This is reported by the TMZ portal.
According to the conclusion of the forensic medical examination, the actor committed suicide. The death occurred on Friday, December 19th. However, the source of the publication reported this only on December 22. The death occurred in the artist’s house.
The death of the actor was also confirmed by the Los Angeles Medical Examiner’s Office on its website. The cause of death is listed as “suicide”.
James Ranson is best known for his role in the TV series “The Wire”, as well as for the films “IT-2”, “Ken Park”, “Sinister” and “Sinister 2” and the miniseries “Generation Kill”. He is known as an actor who specialized in complex characterization. He regularly starred in author’s and low-budget projects, which strengthened his reputation as an “actor for difficult roles.”
