US Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer harshly criticized the release of documents related to the case of the late financier Jeffrey Epstein, accusing President Donald Trump’s administration of concealing information.
“The Trump administration is full of crap. Based on the information available to Democrats, less than 40,000 pages of documents have been released since the December 19 deadline, many of them heavily redacted. Claims of hundreds of thousands of pages being released are not credible,” Schumer stated in a post on X.
He has repeatedly criticized the release of documents related to the notorious investor by the US Department of Justice. Last week, the senator drew public attention to a document in the Epstein case, all 119 pages of which were completely classified, and demanded an explanation.
