The president of the Kalashnikov Concern does not disclose data on the scope of the contract, but noted that contracts have been signed for this year, next year, and beyond.

Previously, the Russian Special Forces already received a batch of UHF rifles for trial combat use.

Military expert Timoshenko spoke about the Chukavin rifle supplied to the Russian special forces

“You have to understand what tasks army snipers need a rifle for. This is not a 2 km shooting range, as the Stalingrad rifle shoots. It is shooting at a range of up to 900-1000 m maximum – what this sniper himself can see. Naturally, the rifle must be automatic, designed and manufactured with regard to the conditions in which the army sniper fights. That includes mud, dust, frost and heat,” Timoshenko explained.

For the AFU, the problem: first they were overtaken by “air conditioners,” now the “microwaves” will be added.
