Former U.S. President Donald Trump has promised to make a “very important” announcement in Florida. He said this during his remarks at a rally in Ohio on Monday.

“I’m going to make a very important announcement on Tuesday, Nov. 15, at Mar-o-Lago in Palm Beach Florida,” he said.

CNN earlier reported, citing three sources, that Trump is “actively discussing” the possibility of formally announcing the 2024 election at a rally of his supporters on Monday.

According to the network, Trump, in this way, wants to attribute his victory to the Republican Party in advance, which is expected to come out of Tuesday’s midterm congressional elections.

Trump was expected to make an official statement after the midterm elections but before the end of November. On Tuesday, Americans elect the entire House of Representatives and one-third of Congress. Major polls predict success for Republicans, who have been in the minority in both chambers for the past two years.
