Pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca for the first time recognized that its vaccine against Covid-19 can cause thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome. This is reported by the newspaper Telegraph with reference to court documents.

It is noted that 51 lawsuits were filed against the company in the High Court of London, because the vaccine, developed by AstraZeneca in cooperation with the University of Oxford, caused serious harm to patients, and even led to a fatal outcome.

“The vaccine can, in very rare cases, cause thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome (TTS). The reasons for this are unknown,” the company said in a document provided by the company to the court in February.

According to the newspaper, the victims and their relatives are demanding compensation for damages, a total of $125 million.
